Benedict Cumberbatch skydiving in Queenstown, New Zealand.

So I found the legitimate source of the skydiving photos. It’s from Skydive Paradise’s public facebook page. I’m assuming the photos are not recent and he’s still in UK now.

Points Added. Slytherin is in the lead!

House points have been tallied and are now up to date. If you feel that your house should have more, let me just add that according to the house point guidelines, completing a para has to be 6 replies per person or no points are given. You still get the points for participating in the para but for it to be considered complete, it must have 6 posts each participant in 200+ words.  Also a reminder, if you want the points to count, make sure to submit them here at this blog.

Summer’s over.

No more lazy mornings, no more late nights.

As usual, Platform 9 and 3/4 is buzzing with activity as the clock approaches eleven o’clock. Everyone is piling into the train, waving goodbye to loved ones and chatting happily with friends. Those who went to the Quidditch Cup recount the story of the match, news from the past few months is exchanged excitedly and there’s the unmistakable and undeniable thrum of anticipation mixing in with the chatter and groaning engines. And then the hour strikes and the scarlet train pulls away from the station, leaving behind their family and friends as it steams ahead to Hogwarts.

The trollies of sweets are roaming the corridors, students are laughing and rushing from compartment to compartment and with every passing minute, the Hogwarts Express brings them closer to home. The promise of the feast that’s waiting for them, the lure of their beds in those familiar dormitories, the thrill of new classes, new teachers, new classmates…everything is coming together and building up inside each locomotive car. Necks crane as everyone tries to catch the first glimpse of the castle nestled in the valley, waiting for them and welcoming them back…

A perfect para opportunity!
